Day 1: Luxor – Dendera – Abydos

Your private guide will meet you in Luxor to begin an extraordinary journey through Egypt’s ancient past.
 

 Dendera Temple Complex

Located near Qena, Dendera is one of the best-preserved temple complexes in Egypt. Dedicated primarily to the goddess Hathor, the temple is renowned for its beautifully decorated ceilings, astronomical carvings, colorful reliefs, and the famous Dendera Zodiac. Construction began during the Ptolemaic period and continued under Roman rule.
 

 Abydos

One of the most sacred religious centers of Ancient Egypt and an important pilgrimage destination dedicated to the god Osiris. Abydos was considered the legendary burial place of Osiris and played a major role in Egyptian religious beliefs.
 

Shunet El Zebib

This massive mudbrick enclosure dates back more than 5,000 years and was built by King Khasekhemwy of the Second Dynasty. It is one of Egypt’s oldest surviving monumental structures and is considered an architectural predecessor to the Step Pyramid complex at Saqqara.
 

 Umm El Qa'ab

Known as the Royal Necropolis of the First and Second Dynasties, Umm El Qa'ab contains the tombs of some of Egypt’s earliest kings, including King Narmer, traditionally credited with unifying Upper and Lower Egypt.
 

 Ahmose Pyramid (Exterior View)

The pyramid of King Ahmose I, founder of the Eighteenth Dynasty and liberator of Egypt from the Hyksos. It is the last royal pyramid constructed in Egypt and marks the transition from pyramid burials to hidden royal tombs.

Day 2: Abydos – Assiut – Minya

 Monastery of the Holy Virgin at Al-Muharraq

One of Egypt’s most important Christian pilgrimage destinations. According to Christian tradition, the Holy Family stayed here for more than six months during their journey in Egypt. The monastery contains one of the oldest churches in the country and remains a significant spiritual center for Coptic Christians.

Day 3: Minya – Cairo

 Tell el-Amarna

The short-lived capital founded by Pharaoh Akhenaten during the 18th Dynasty. Akhenaten established the city as the center of worship for Aten, the sun disk, introducing one of history’s earliest known forms of monotheistic worship. The site offers remarkable insight into one of Ancient Egypt’s most revolutionary periods.
 

 Beni Hasan

A collection of beautifully decorated Middle Kingdom tombs carved into limestone cliffs. The tombs are famous for their vivid scenes depicting daily life, agriculture, wrestling, trade, military activities, and interactions with neighboring peoples.
 

 Royal Tomb of Akhenaten

Situated in a remote desert valley east of Amarna, this tomb was prepared for Pharaoh Akhenaten and his royal family. The wall reliefs provide valuable information about the royal household and the religious reforms of the Amarna Period.

After the tour, transfer to Cairo.
