Your Egyptian odyssey begins the moment you land at Cairo International Airport. A Marsa Alam Tours representative will greet you, assist with formalities, and escort you to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. The evening is yours to unwind — perhaps savor local koshari street food, stroll along the Nile corniche, or simply rest after your flight. We'll review your tour schedule and confirm pick-up times.

After breakfast, take a short flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, begin your exploration at the magnificent Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Then marvel at the engineering feat of the Aswan High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, still lying in its granite quarry. Board your Nile cruise ship for lunch, then sail on a felucca around Elephantine Island and Kitchener's Island. In the evening, consider an optional trip to a colorful Nubian village. An early start rewards you with one of Egypt's most awe-inspiring sights: the twin temples of Abu Simbel, carved from a mountainside by Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. These UNESCO masterpieces were painstakingly moved to higher ground in a legendary rescue operation. Return to the cruise for lunch, then sail to Kom Ombo to visit the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek (crocodile god) and Horus (falcon god). Continue sailing to Edfu for dinner and a fun Galabeya party night on deck.

Morning brings a horse-carriage ride to Edfu Temple, Egypt's best-preserved cult temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Return to the cruise, sail through Esna Lock, and arrive in Luxor by late afternoon. As dusk falls, visit the illuminated Luxor Temple — a stunning introduction to the world's greatest open-air museum. Dinner and overnight on board.

Disembark after breakfast. Optional pre-dawn hot air balloon flight over the West Bank (extra cost). Then explore the Valley of the Kings, where Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered. See the towering Colossi of Memnon and the terraced Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Cross to the East Bank for the colossal Karnak Temple complex — a forest of pillars, obelisks, and sacred lakes. After lunch, continue to Dahshur to see the Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid, precursors to the Giza wonders. Return to Cairo for overnight.

Early departure (7 am) to Alexandria, the Mediterranean pearl. Visit the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar, and the magnificent Citadel of Qaitbay (built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria). Lunch at a local seafood restaurant. Start the day in Madaba, the 'City of Mosaics,' where you'll see the famous 6th-century map of the Holy Land at St. George's Church. Then climb Mount Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land. After lunch, visit Kerak, a sprawling Crusader fortress with underground galleries and stunning views. Return to Madaba for overnight.

An early start to beat the crowds at Petra. Walk through the narrow, colorful Siq canyon until the Treasury (Al-Khazneh) appears dramatically before you.
